Hair / Loss

February 3, 2016

Mocking the misfortune of others is a good way to invite bad karma, but I was too busy bringing our son CJ home from the hospital yesterday to pen anything worth reading. Instead of skipping a post, I’ll risk bad karma by posting these pictures that made me laugh.

Karma may have the last laugh since Trump is currently ahead of Cruz in many upcoming primaries. While I dislike Trump and believe he’d make a terrible president, Cruz, the winner of the Iowa Caucus, scares me more.

What do you mean the people of Iowa FIRED ME?

Be really scary if he wins...

While I disagree with both Trump and Cruz, I do not believe in hating people you disagree with, or ridiculing them either (which is a form of hate, I believe) ... altho' I have to admit, the hairdo is kinda funny.

So far, this election is shaping up to be a none-of-the-above kinda choice. (sigh) But please, PLEASE don't let Trump or Cruz get elected. Dare I say it? The pics you posted are great. I especially like the NOPE one. :) I'm so glad your son is doing so well. Must have been a very scary time for you all.

I don't much care for any of the candidates. Seems they all could have made better choices about what they want to do for a living.

I think most of us don't care for any of the circus clowns- Demorats or Repubs- lets face it most of them are professional politicians which is scary. The one I like best is the polite, respectful Dr Carson. But then he's so nice he doesn't stand a chance. Read this link about Ted CXruz's dirty tricks. http://www.texastribune.org/2016/02/02/carson-accuses-cruz-dirty-tricks-caucus-night/ On a happier note- it is great that CJ is home! Yay!

Amusing. I trust the same pens and wits will turn their attention to Cruz.

on the republican side, i'm rooting for rubio.

So glad CJ is home again. Loved the pics of Trump. If it hadn't been Cruz replacing him at the top, it would have been a great day.

I think it's schadenfraude that's the German word for "shameful joy" or taking joy in the misfortune of someone else. But Trump certainly had it coming. Karma is real!

Sorry bu the most popular rightwingnuts are just exactly that. No presidential demeanor and no diplomacy and refusing to accept actual facts...such as what is wrong with the employment stats, spending, money being spent on war, etc. right now?

Why would Cruz be scary? I am not a supporter, but I am curious about your position.

I am SO tired of elections that force me to vote against candidates instead of FOR one, but here we go again!!
By: fishducky on February 3, 2016
Those are perfect! It's hard not to make fun of Trump. He really asks for it. I'm hoping CJ is doing well and continues to improve. He's lucky he can stay with you while he recovers. I bet it's a great relief to him.

Ha! Although that last one is TERRIFYING!

Both Cruz and Trump are pretty scary. some of the citizens must be scary too if they support those bozos

Although I agree about being nice, it seems that politicians invite ridicule

In the current crop, they all scare me.

A friend whom I respect told me today he thinks Rubio has the best chance. The mind shudders and the stomach revolts.

Thanks for the laugh. Otherwise, we'd have to cry.

I think the election pool is getting shallow.
By: Rick Watson on February 3, 2016
By their very definition all politicians are scary. Some more than others.

Like you, I recoil at the prospect of either Trump or Cruz being the most powerful man in the world. Fun post - I particularly like the finger on the button cartoon.
By: Bryan Jones on February 4, 2016
I agree with you about Cruz (and Trump)!
By: Mitchell Is Moving on February 4, 2016
Well if Trump gets elected between Canada and the US it should be an interesting adventure. Kumbya meets the Till of the Hon.
By: Beckie Evans on February 4, 2016
Have you seen the Trump your Cat, and Bernie your Baby pics? Like some of the ones you put up, they are worth a chuckle, even if the real candidates aren't... Cat

I'm with you. Cruz is one scary guy. He's a dominionist and his intent is to scrap the constitution and institute religious law. I don't think there is a single republican candidate that has any idea what it takes to be president. and Trump. someone wrote on a blog that she didn't think he really wants to be President, he just want to win and I agree with her. he is far too much of a narcissist to be able to put himself aside and actually work for the good of the country.

I can't chime in because I'm a terrible American and can't seem to get caught up on any of the politics. Hopefully I can sort it all before it's too late, haha.. Glad your son is ok :)

They ALL scare me!
